Course: Introduction to Women's Studies (SOC 120)
Description: In this activity, youth will watch a video presentation focused
on the nonprofit organization: Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS). Specifically, learning about the founder Ambareen Siraj, including her background and achievements within cyber. Next, they will gain an understanding of cybersecurity topics as they relate to WiCyS and become aware of an important female figure in cyber, Dr. Siraj. Lastly, they will be encouraged to
participate in TryHackMe.com learning modules where they can perform hands-on labs relating to cybersecurity.

Course: Introduction to Women's Studies (SOC 120)
Description: Students will learn about Ann Lowe, an African American designer in the 1880's. I will talk about her life and her career. Students will have to create their own T-shirt with dye. I want them to learn about an influential designer and be inspired to create their own clothes.
